Assistant Parks and Recreation Director
Starting Salary Range 15 - $59,467.20


The City of Soldotna has an immediate opening for an Assistant Parks & Recreation Director.  This position assists the Director in carrying out the goals and objectives of the Department of Parks and Recreation including the promotion and implementation of diverse recreational and cultural opportunities for youth, teens, adults, seniors and families, enhancing the quality of life for all residents and visitors to the City.

This position will also coordinate and supervise all aspects of the City of Soldotna Community Schools program, prepare financial and budget reports, work with the Director in development of regulation and policies, work with the Kenai Peninsula Borough School district staff for cooperative facilities use, schedule and coordinate facility rentals and use agreements, assist the Director with ongoing budget administration and assume responsibility for all department operations in the absence of the Director.
