Soldotna City Council
The Soldotna City Council will conduct a public hearing on January 24, 2018 on the following ordinances:
Ordinance 2018-001 – Increasing Estimated Revenues and Appropriations by $27,600 in the General Fund to Purchase Materials for a Replacement Flooring System at the Soldotna Regional Sports Complex (Interim City Manager)
Ordinance 2018-002 - Amending Chapter 2.09 to Provide for the City Clerk to Be Supervised By the City Council and to Establish the Position of Deputy Clerk and Amending Section 2.28.270(A) to Establish that Job Descriptions for Positions Supervised by the Council or Clerk are Prepared and Modified by the Council or Clerk (Murphy, Whitney)
Ordinance 2018-003 – Adopting the Airport Master Plan and Incorporating it into Envision Soldotna 2030, the Comprehensive Plan (Interim City Manager)
Ordinance 2018-004 – Amending Soldotna Municipal Code Chapters 17.10, Zoning Code and 1.08 Minor Offenses to Provide General Standards and Enforcement Procedures for Marijuana Establishments (Interim City Manager) (Second Public Hearing on February 14, 2018)
Ordinance 2018-005 – Amending Soldotna Municipal Code to Include Provisions for Taxation and Regulations of Marijuana (Interim City Manager) (Second Public Hearing on February 14, 2018)

The January 3, 2017 Planning & Zoning meeting will hold a public hearing for:
- A Conditional Use Permit for the Phase VI expansion and renovation project of the Central Peninsula Hospital. The property is zoned Institutional, is located at 250 Hospital Place, and is legally described as T 05N R 10W SEC 29 Seward Meridian KN 2017033 DOC ISAAK SUB LOT 1B.
- A Variance to Exceed the Maximum Driveway Width Requirement for a Driveway on the Property Described as T 05N R 10W SEC 29 Seward Meridian KN 2017033 DOC ISAAK SUB LOT 1B (250 Hospital Place)
